Mirroring Rhythms of the
Natural World Retreat
September 30th - October 4th | with Heather Berg
As autumn begins to soften the edges of summer, you’re invited into a 4-night, 5-day retreat devoted to the art of transition. Set within the quiet beauty of Firecreek Retreat, this gathering offers space to honor the gentle turning inward that fall naturally brings.
Surrounded by the changing forest—leaves shifting in color, light growing warmer and lower—you’ll explore how the rhythms of the natural world mirror your own inner landscape. This is a season of integration, harvest, and release. Together, we will practice meeting change with steadiness, curiosity, and care.
Each day will include grounding practices of yoga, breathwork, and meditation to support your nervous system and deepen your connection to body and breath. As the air cools and the pace of nature slows, we will move in ways that cultivate warmth, reflection, and restoration.
Our time together will also include forest walks beneath autumn’s canopy, hydrotherapy, sauna and cold plunge, and opportunities to gather around fire and conversation.
Meals will be prepared with intention to nourish and comfort during this time of transition. A private chef will craft daily lunches and dinners, while your cabin kitchen will be stocked with breakfast provisions and fresh breads, allowing unhurried mornings and cozy beginnings to each day.
Nestled in a hollow at 3,000 feet in a temperate rainforest, Firecreek Retreat offers beautifully appointed cabins, outdoor hot tubs, a sauna, cold plunge, greenhouse, gardens, and open land lovingly tended by Christy and Gavin McKenzie. It is a place where nature’s cycles are deeply felt and honored.
This autumn retreat is an invitation to pause, reflect, and gather the wisdom of the year.
To soften into change.
To release what no longer serves.
To remember that, like the forest, you are always part of a living, evolving world.

Welcome to Firecreek
We purchased the property in 2021, in an effort to both heal ourselves, and as small offering to help heal the planet. Aside from our small family unit enjoying the magical land here, our aim is to share it with others, by way of hosting retreats, workshops, and short term rentals. Retreats include yoga and meditation, leadership, art, photography and nature immersion, fly fishing and hiking, as well culinary, foraging, and regenerative agriculture.
