Dogwood Overview

Dogwood is the classic mountain lodge, built for the kind of comfort that comes from wood, warmth, and room to gather. Knotty pine covers the interior, and a wood-burning stove anchors the main living space, the kind of cabin that asks you to slow down the moment you walk in.

Step outside to a multi-level deck built high among the trees, the kind of vantage point that makes morning coffee and evening wind-down feel like part of the design. A private cedar soaking tub sits ready after a day on the trails, a hammock stretches out for slower afternoons, and a BBQ area rounds out the outdoor space.

Four bedrooms and three bathrooms sleep up to nine guests, with room to spread out for larger families or multi-generational groups sharing the cabin.

The Setting

Dogwood sits at 3,000 feet in the forest outside Asheville, on 65 acres of private, spring-fed land. Bear, deer, turkey, coyote, and fox all call this stretch of mountain home, and guests are welcome to explore it on foot. With advance notice, you're also welcome to visit the on-site farm animals or book time in the sauna and cold plunge.
